The Loss of a Legend

Friends, it is with a sad and heavy heart that I inform you all of the passing of Mike Broadbent, who passed unexpectedly earlier this week.

I've known Mike for just on 30 years and he's been the backbone of our team, namely the AFG. He was our caster and mold maker, and his loss has devastated the team including me. Only recently did he stand down as the caster of our miniatures, a task I recently took on to ease the load from him as he battled health issues which seemed to stem from the passing of his lovely wife Ailsa, just 18 months ago.

In grieving his loss, we are joyed that they are now both back together. The dynamic duo, they were always meant to be together..

But the show will go on, Mike was never one to let things slide. Casting operations have passed to me, and we will be live in 2 weeks from our new setup. Molding operations will be suspended pending a review but things were in motion to allow Mike to slip to an early retirement, so the suspension wont be long.
