in the 1980’s and stuck with it ever since.
Most know me for my painting of Battletech miniatures from my time as an official painter for the sponsored website of Camo Specs Online, official company representative’s for the Battletech line of
miniatures.
These-days I’m more of a freelance artist and the Co-Ordinator of the Australian Finance Group or AFG, who create a line of miniatures, variants and parts for miniatures as well as a whole range of other products. The working of this very unique business concept here runs very similar to a company in Japan called VeilSide. They take a vehicle manufacturers car, then make a series of extensive modifications. What they do to the car is not the concept of what the manufacturer originally had, this is where IK Miniatures looks to take a miniature, then enhance it out to something completely different.
Those parts are freely accessible to me and therefore the reason why you see a lot of pimped out, highly modified and reposed miniatures on this website. A lot of custom made parts are created to develop an even deeper enriched interaction with the miniatures when they hit the gaming table, rather than stock standard stuff.
This website is designed to show my painted miniatures, where a wider and broader range of official cannon designs can be seen.
There is also a wide range of painted miniatures for sale,
commission works for your own design or the ability to create and own a unit that is canon in the game setting. There is also a wide variety of miniatures that are homebrew and never produced by other companies. I have the ability to have custom parts made, moulds and full casting ability in metal.
Here at IK Miniatures, it’s all about customisation to have a truly personal experience with your miniatures and your hobby
Enjoy!
